Viver Health has been named a 2026 Prix Galien Nominee
Morristown, NJ — September 10, 2026 — Viver Health has been named a nominee for the 2026 Prix Galien USA Inaugural Patient First Award in Honor of Michael J. Fox for their educational resource and campaign, Your Guide to Sexual Well-Being, focused on sexual health and HIV prevention. This recognition highlights Viver’s commitment to developing evidence-based, patient-centric resources that translate patient and community insights into meaningful improvements in healthcare experiences and outcomes.
Designed to help individuals and care teams engage in stigma-free, informed conversations about sexual health and HIV prevention, Your Guide to Sexual Well-Being reflects Viver’s collaborative, patient-first approach to health education. The Guide was co-created with people living with HIV, community advocates, public health stakeholders, advocacy organizations, and front-line healthcare professionals, including The Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC), National Alliance of State & Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN). These partners provided firsthand insights that shaped the resource’s content, format, and tone to reflect lived experiences and real-world needs. They are also key to Guide dissemination, helping to ensure that information reaches communities through trusted, credible sources.
“As someone both living with HIV and having led HIV treatment and prevention clinics, I am deeply impressed and equally invigorated by the Guide. As a public health practitioner, I am particularly impressed by the thoughtful attention to health literacy, cultural representation, and the intentional use of language throughout. At first glance, I immediately envisioned how well received and useful this will be for patients, providers, and the entire HIV workforce. I am proud of ANAC’s involvement in this project.”
The Guide uses patient-friendly, nonjudgmental language and a visually engaging format to make complex sexual health information accessible and actionable. With support from Gilead Sciences, Inc., the resource is available at no cost for care teams to distribute to patients, helping reduce barriers to trusted information. Access is further expanded by a U.S. Spanish cultural adaptation, helping ensure that patients can engage in language that is accessible and relevant to their needs.
Real-world evidence showing how the resource is used, its impact, and changes in behavior over time are collected via the resource ordering platform. This approach reflects Viver’s commitment to moving beyond education alone to measuring and continuously improving the patient and HCP experience, with potential to scale the model across other therapeutic areas.
At its core, Your Guide to Sexual Well-Being puts “no decision for me without me” into action, bringing patient voices and lived experience directly into the development of resources designed to support better, more informed healthcare decisions.
